Stochastic Channel Model for Dense Urban Line-of-Sight Street Microcell

چکیده

A stochastic channel model for line-of-sight (LoS) street microcell scenarios in dense urban areas is proposed. The scattering power distribution (SPD) in the channel seen from the mobile terminal (MT) based on the physical phenomenon is obtained. The coefficients of the distribution are derived by approximation to the measurements performed in urban street microcell scenarios. The azimuth-power spectrum (APS) and the power-delay profile (PDP) predicted by the proposed model is compared to those for conventional model as well as to the experimental results. It is shown that the proposed model in contrast to the conventional models produces results that closely agree with the experiments.
